JB & Co. is your locally owned, locally operated professional services firm, established in 2017. We have three locations:  Bellefontaine, Ohio, Marysville, Ohio, and Upper Sandusky, Ohio. JB & Co. was created to provide the value of “more” to our small but vibrant communities in Ohio. Jacob and Team provide a deep background of information on both Small Business Accounting and Taxation and provide the capabilities of larger regional firms, in the communities and small towns that we serve.  We have a deep connection and passion for the communities in which we are a part of, and hope to continue to drive the growth in the local communities as well as the surrounding areas.

CEO & Principal

Jacob R Badenhop is an Enrolled Agent and Principal Shareholder of the firm. Jacob has an extensive tax background and consulting background serving both in public and industry leadership roles. As an agricultural and small business expert, Jacob is poised to help your business grow.

Kelsey A Gibson

Accounting Manager

Our skilled Accounting Manager Kelsey Gibson holds a Bachelors in Finance and Accounting from Tiffin University. With over 7 years of accounting experience, and special expertise in the transportation industry, small businesses, and nonprofits, she is an invaluable asset to our team.

Mitchell Auchmuty

Senior Accountant

With a degree in Accounting and Financial Economics, plus a decade of experience in bookkeeping and taxes for both the private and corporate sector, Mitchell is proud to provide his expertise to our team. Mitchell works remotely.

Carrie Weaver

Staff Accountant

Carrie provides deep knowledge of the Transportation, Retail and Small Business to the accounting and small business team at JB & Co. She works closely with clients leadership team to provide support for back office accounting and controller services provided by the firm. Carrie is based out of the Upper Sandusky Office.

Brianna Kinchen

Staff Accountant

As a local to the Bellefontaine community, Brianna works collectively with our accounting team to assist in performing tax, payroll, accounting, and consulting services to our clients. She has an education in Financial Management and brings both real estate and manufacturing expertise to our firm.

Ellie Stoneburner

Staff Accountant

As a local to the Upper Sandusky Community, Ellie works with our small business team in the areas of accounting and taxation. She also provides a unique financial background to our Outsource Accounting team, bringing a community-oriented approach to our services.

Hannah Kiene

Marketing Coordinator

Hannah has several years experience in small business marketing and office administration. Based in our Upper Sandusky office, she helps out with the daily needs of the office and staff as well as managing our social media platforms and various marketing projects.

Megan VanderRoest

Office Manager

Located at our Marysville office, Megan has a decade of office and administrative experience. Organized and friendly, she oversees the day to day operations of the office and is happy to provide administrative service to our clients.

Marianne Carter

Administrative Assistant

Based in our Bellefontaine Office, and with a background in administrative skills, Marianne oversees the daily operations of the office and brings a friendly and professional atmosphere to our team.

Kara Caldwell

Administrative Assistant

With several years of office experience in the medical industry, Kara assists with the daily operations in our Marysville office and is sure to provide you with warm and welcoming service.
